Safety Light Curtains

Senyd safety light curtain is a type of safety device used in industrial settings to protect workers from hazardous machinery. It consists of a transmitter and receiver unit that emit an array of infrared light beams across an opening or perimeter around a machine. If an object or person breaks the beams, the light curtain sends a signal to the machine to stop or slow down, preventing any potential accidents or injuries.Safety light curtains are commonly used in areas where workers need access to machinery or equipment, such as robotic cells, press brakes, or assembly lines. They are designed to detect any intrusion into a specified detection zone and provide a quick response to ensure the safety of personnel. Safety light curtains are an essential safety measure in industrial environments to comply with safety regulations and prevent accidents.

Laser distance sensor

Senyd TOF principle laser distance sensors operate on the principle of measuring the time it takes for a laser pulse to travel from the sensor to the target object and back. Here's how TOF laser distance sensors work:

  1. Emitting laser pulse: The sensor emits a laser pulse towards the target object.

  2. Reflection: The laser pulse hits the target object and reflects back towards the sensor.

  3. Time measurement: The sensor measures the time it takes for the laser pulse to travel to the object and back. This time measurement is directly proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object.

  4. Distance calculation: Using the speed of light as a constant, the sensor calculates the distance to the object based on the time it took for the laser pulse to travel back and forth.
